Gamaliel Ayeyemi Foundation (GAF) advocates for children with sickle cell disease (SCD). This includes raising awareness, educating the public, and working to improve healthcare.

Our Advocacy efforts:

• Providing routine medication for SCD patients. (This takes place every Thursday at the Sickle Cell Clinic of Adeoyo State Hospital in Ibadan, Nigeria.)
• Raising awareness about SCD
• Educating the public about SCD
• Working to end the stigma of SCD
• Helping children with SCD navigate medical intervention
• Linking people with SCD to community resources
• Working to improve healthcare outcomes for children with SCD

Advocacy goals:

• Ensuring children with SCD know they are not alone
• Increasing community support for children with SCD
• Creating a more informed public about SCD
• Improving access to care for children with SCD
